Hazard Mitigation Plan Update
The purpose of the LHMP is to identify local hazards, review and assess past disaster occurrences, estimate the probability of future occurrences, and set goals to mitigate potential risks (to reduce or eliminate long-term risk) to people and property from natural and man-made hazards.
City of Wildomar Achieves AB 2140 Certification
The City of Wildomar is proud to announce that we are now AB 2140 certified! This important designation comes after the adoption of our FEMA-approved Local Hazard Mitigation Plan (LHMP) into the Safety Element of our General Plan, as approved by the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES).
